Temple magazine
Temple is an annual educational magazine that has been published for 160 years. Dating back to 1866, Temple magazine has its origins in El Propagador, a publication that the members of the Asociación Espiritual de Devotos de San José, promoters of the Sagrada Família founded to report on the association's activities and the progress of the works. Over the years, this publication evolved and adapted to the times until becoming the Temple magazine as we know it today.
Meanwhile, starting in 1914, when Antoni Gaudí was already immersed in the works of the Sagrada Família, the Temple Albums started being published, notebooks that included detailed descriptions, images, drawings and plans of the project and its evolution. The four albums that were published express the architect's intent and are still used to continue constructing the Basilica.
Faithful to this legacy, the current publication of Temple is invitation to closely follow Antoni Gaudí’s project through architecture, history, symbology, and the people who make and have made the dream of a genius come true. The magazine strives to be an informative tool that delves into the past, present and future of the Sagrada Família project as work continues on the final stage of its construction.
