The apse tends to be surrounded by an even number of small or apse chapels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2020 L\u2019absis |  El \u00e1bside |  The apse\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UngKrpI0gdc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Espiritual de Devotos de San Jos\u00e9(Spiritual Association of the Devotees of Saint Joseph):<\/strong>&nbsp; Founded in 1866 by Josep Maria Bocabella, this association, which came to have 600,000 members, used its magazine El Propagador de la Devoci\u00f3n a San Jos\u00e9 to spread the word, publishing roughly 25,000 copies. In 1948, the name of the magazine was changed to Temple, the name under which it is still published by the Fundaci\u00f3 Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Fam\u00edlia, which has overseen construction of the Temple since 1895.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bas\u00edlica:<\/strong> Church seen as notable for its age or significance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Major bas\u00edlica:<\/strong> The four main churches in Rome, considered the first in Christianity: Saint John Lateran, Santa Maria Maggiore, Saint Paul Outside the Walls and Saint Peter in the Vatican.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minor bas\u00edlica:<\/strong> Honorary title bestowed by the Pope on churches in the Christian realm that are important given their historyy, size and the veneration they inspire as places of worship.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bocabella i Verdaguer, Josep Maria (Barcelona, 1815\u20131892):<\/strong> Cat\u00f3lico fervoroso y muy devoto de San Jos\u00e9, el librero Bocabella decidi\u00f3 dedicarse a fomentar el culto a este santo, algo que hizo a trav\u00e9s de la Asociaci\u00f3n Espiritual de Devotos de San Jos\u00e9 y la revista El Propagador de la Devoci\u00f3n a San Jos\u00e9, as\u00ed como con la edici\u00f3n de numerosos libros y op\u00fasculos de car\u00e1cter religioso.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crossing:<\/strong> Square space, generally topped with a dome, shared by the transversal and longitudinal naves of a church. This term can also be used to refer to the whole transversal nave of a church, more commonly known as the transept.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crypt<\/strong>: Church or chapel located below the main church&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Double twist column:<\/strong> Column with a polygon or star base that twists to the right and the left as it moves upwards, becoming a circle.
